Artists Profile
Norma's interest in art started when she won a scholarship for the summer
school at the Art Institute of Chicago. She attended classes that summer
and thus began a life long interest in oil painting.
She has attended classes in the evening school at Wheaton , Illinois and
the DuPage Art League. She has attended workshops in Door County,
Wisconsin and Sante Fe, New Mexico...as well as many others.. Along the
way she has received several awards. Since moving to Florida a few years
ago she has been studying plein air oil painting with a well known
Florida artist.
She and her husband Jim, live on the west coast of Florida where many of
the local beaches are a source of painting enjoyment. She has paintings
at the Island Gallery West.
